On Wednesday, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews hinted Melbourne's coronavirus restrictions could be lifted quicker than first planned.
Under the government roadmap announced earlier this month, the planned changes on Monday would include public gatherings being allowed for five people from two households. During the curfew, people in Melbourne can only leave their house for work, and essential health, care or safety reasons.
