Sir Kefas Lamak, has tasked Plateau State governor elect, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, to ensure that appointments to his cabinet are not based on ethnicity and denominational biases but competence and zeal to serve people of the state.
Lamak while speaking to our correspondent in Jos urged the governor to provide good governance and purposeful leadership which he said had been lacking in the state over the years. Lamak also challenged the governor to take a tour of the local government areas after settling down to enable him have first-hand information on the needs of the people with a view to addressing them squarely.
According to him, many youths in the state are not gainfully employed or have the capital to start businesses and this is as a result of bad leadership and governance.
