The katsina state Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari who visited the institution to see things for himself in the company of the state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu and the special Adviser on Higher Education, Alhaji Bashir Ruwan Godiya, directed that a committee be set up to investigate the cause of the fire while promising to repay damages caused by the inferno
Masari who was speaking when he received the president of Association of indigenes of katsina residents in Lagos and Danburam of katsina, Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Faskari who led other officials of the Association on a congratulatory visit over re-election, explained that the effort of returning children to study would reduce the cost being incurred in sponsoring them to study in tertiary educational institution outside the state.
