A Federal High Court in Asaba, Delta State, on Thursday slammed the sum of N10m against Nigeria’s lawless secret police, Department of State Services,
Telecoms company, MTN, had recycled the mobile telephone number for sale after it became dormant for a long time.Bringing Okolie’s ordeal at the DSS facility in Abuja to public domain in a Twitter post on January 6, 2020, rights activist and journalist, Omoyele Sowore, who was himself detained unlawfully by the DSS for months for calling on Nigerians to take to the streets and demand a better country from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, described the situation as sad.
