The Universal Basic Education Board has announced the opening of bids for the construction and renovations of 302 classrooms in primary and secondary schools across the state. The bid covers the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2021, as well as the 1st to 3rd quarters of 2022. The project also includes the drilling of motorised boreholes. The executive governor of the state has provided the necessary funds for the program.

The executive chairman who was represented by the Director physical and Engineering programme Ngo Chundung Shom during the bid opening ceremony held in Jos yesterday, “The bid we are opening today will involve the construction of new classrooms, renovation of dilapidated classrooms as well as drilling of motorised boreholes.
