The students, who described the decision of the management as reckless and insensitive to the plight of the students, regretted that the same management has finally implemented what it earlier described as rumour.
But now, some students that spoke with The Guardian, disclosed that the official school fees has been uploaded on the school’s portal, and it was discovered Computer Science students, for instance, who use to pay N28,800 before, will now pay N38,800. Another student from the department of Computer Science, who identified himself as Abdulah, said: “I remember when the rumour started on campus last session, the SUG quickly refuted it and called it fake, urging students to disregard it. But now the narrative has changed. And an alleged fake rumour has turned to truth.”
