UN warns of plan by Boko Haram, ISWAP to abduct humanitarian workers | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News ⚠️

The United Nations Department of Safety and Security , in an advisory released, yesterday, in Maiduguri, said: “We have a course to believe that the insurgents have perfected plans to abduct our humanitarian workers.”However, the UNDSS statement said that no specific time was revealed for the planned abduction of staff.

“It also advised them to ensure that staff vulnerability should be avoided,” noting that this will also reduce the level of exposure of any kind to humanitarian workers in Banki. It, reportedly, happened on October 24 as Boko Haram carried out coordinated attacks targeted at Bole and Yale camps of ISWAP.

According to him, ISWAP had, this week, attacked an enclave of Boko Haram insurgents in Gajibo and killed six of them, describing the slain terrorists as infidels.
