Ekeoba further expressed the belief that leadership skills can be learnt, thereby debunking the notion that only some individuals are born to lead. The training program aims to bridge the leadership and governance gap, providing participants with the necessary skills to excel not only within ASHWAN but also in their personal lives, families, and social relationships.
Urging attendees to embrace these teachings, she emphasized their significance in personal growth and the effective management of ASHWAN. The national coordinator of the Association of Women Living with HIV and AIDS in Nigeria, Assumpta Reginald utilised the occasion to call upon the federal government to allocate funds for the association.
