The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned Israel's latest air strikes on an Israeli-designated zone for displaced people in Gaza.

In his reaction to the airstrikes by Israel, Guterres in a post on his X handle late on Tuesday night, condemned Israel's latest onslaught in Gaza. The UN boss also repeated his earlier calls for the immediate ceasefire as well as the release of all hostages held in Gaza. Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal cited large craters left in the strikes' wake, saying, “There are entire families who have disappeared under the sand in the Mawasi Khan Younis massacre.'
