The United Nations envoys have advised Nigerians not to allow the Saturday, February 25, 2023 general elections to break the peace and stability in the country.

The envoys urged the country’s political parties, candidates and supporters, to ensure a peaceful, transparent and credible election.

The UN Ambassador, Dr. David Elijah said the gathering is organised to ensure the peace preached by the world body is actualised in Nigeria. The Director General, International Election Monitoring Group in Nigeria, Worldwide, Prince Eniola Adedamola, appealed to political groups to exercise patience during and after the election.

“We have done a house-to-house campaign to make sure that this election goes peacefully,” Muse added.
