The Lagos branch of the University of Ibadan Alumni Association, on Sunday elected Mr. Dauda Folaranmi Salau as its new chairman for a term of two years. UniIbadan studentsunionui Kingbiodun_
Salau was elected at a gathering of former University of Ibadan students in Lagos, following the nomination and electoral process at its general meeting held on Sunday, February 16. Dauda Salau who studied in the department of Linguistics, graduated in 1991.In his acceptance speech, Salau appreciated the gathering, for the confidence reposed in him to steer the leadership of the association, he craved for the support of members in moving the association branch forward.
Other executives who emerged as winners as announced by the electoral body Chairman, Mr. Joseph Uchea and Secretary, Mr. Tokunbo Salako are as follows, Mr. Michael Popoola , Mr. Stephen Alayande , Mr. Femi Adenifuja , Mr. Noah Osifeso , Mr. Tobi Austin . Unanimously, the members admonished the new executives to hit the ground running and most importantly, work assiduously for the progress of the association.
