The Academic Staff Union of Universities, the University of Ibadan branch, has re-elected its chairman, Ayo Akinwole, for another term of two years amid tension.
Akewula Adams was returned as Financial Secretary, while Oyediran Oyebola was elected as Investment Secretary and Moses Adetona as Assistant Secretary of the union.
ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, was represented at the Biennial Congress where the results of the election were declared by Ibadan Zonal Coordinator of the union, Oyebamiji Oyegoke. It was witnessed by leaders of the union from the University of Lagos, Dele Ashiru; University of Ilorin, Moyosore Ajao; Ladoke Akintola University, Babatunde Lawal; Lagos State University, Akinloye Oyewunmi; University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Gbenga Adeleye; Kwara State University, Dauda Adesola; and Obafemi Awolowo University, Anthony Odiwe.All rights reserved.
