The La Liga side eliminated Erik ten Hag’s side from the Europa League on a 5-2 aggregate win, having drawn 2-2 in the first leg at Old Trafford last week. Speaking to Movistar+ after the game, Mendilibar admitted that he felt so grateful to lead Sevilla to their historic victory over Manchester United.“I’m thankful to the players, they have believed in what I have asked of them.”
