The announcement was made by Oliver Alawuba, Group Managing Director and CEO, during a send-off dinner for the bank’s retirees in Abuja.
UBA, which employs over 25,000 staff and serves more than 45 million customers across 24 countries, remains committed to building a sustainable and innovative institution. Alawuba highlighted the bank’s chairman’s recent announcement of UBA’s intention to establish its presence in Saudi Arabia next year, alongside the launch of additional African subsidiaries
