The two major warring factions of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwara State, held their separate ward congresses without any incident recorded
On the side of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s faction, new ward party executives, emerged through consensus and affirmation.
The governor’s faction adopted a consensus arrangement across the state as earlier indicated, with officials announcing nominations of contenders and delegates affirming their acceptance of same. The state caretaker committe of the party, Abdullahi Samari, said ” Our men went to the field with the objective of consensus all through as a preference that will further unite the APC family and exactly that is what we had today.”
