Two persons on Monday suffered life-threatening injuries from a gas explosion in Orile-iganmu area of Lagos.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency , in a statement by its Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said the State’s Emergency Response Plans was activated, with the prompt arrival of the Lagos Response Team from Onipanu Base to the incident scene.

“The building which comprise of six residential flats on two floors, also served as illegal storage facility for about 30 gas cylinders of various sizes used in the storage and sale of cooking gas in a residential area.
