ICYMI: Two nominations for Segun Arinze from Toronto | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News
The Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival released the nominations for the 2021 festival awards and leading Nollywood actor and President of the Association of Voice Over Artistes Segun Arinze earned two nominations —Best Actor Africa and Best Actor International.
The organisers said Arinze earned the nomination for his effort in the movie by Isreal Eziedo titled Aberrations. Eziedo also got a nomination in the Best Director Africa category. While Eziedo will be competing against Desmond Elliot and two others, Arinze who is popular as Black Arrow is in nomination in the African category with actors such as Gabriel Olaifa, Hakeem Kae-Kazeem and Chimezie Imo.
Arinze also has international acts such as Kadeem Wilson, Chimezie Imo, Julio Lazaro and Rei Sugai who played lead in ‘Pay Phone’ to beat in the International category. The TINFF will hold in Canada on September 18 and 19.SULTRY actress Tonto Dikeh have continued to flaunt her politician lover Prince Kpokpogri for all to see. The lovebirds attended the graduation ceremony of Andre, Tonto’s son from her botched marriage to Olakunle Churchill over the weekend.
Tonto, who was visibly elated, later shared photos of the graduation ceremony on her social media handle with a caption filled with gratitude to ‘the man in her life’ for the support. “The rush, the emotions is truly beautiful having a man stand with me as my head and as a father to my son has been one of my secret prayers. When I thought He has done much, Jesus did it again. He made all things beautiful in His time. If this isn’t god, then who is it? He turned my mockery into gladness. Helleluyah. Weldone Jesus, I see you,” she enthused.
