The Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended two men, Abubakar Ibrahim and Isah Ayuba, for the abduction and murder of Felicia Namkywa, a petty trader. The suspects lured the victim with a phone call, promising her a grain purchase opportunity in a Fulani settlement. They then strangled her to death in the forest and dumped her remains in a swamp, stealing N555,000 from her.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested two men, Abubakar Ibrahim and Isah Ayuba, over the abduction and subsequent killing of one Felicia Namkywa, a petty trader . The Police Public Relations Officer of the state, DSP Ramhan Nansel said in a statement on Sunday that the arrest was carried out by police detectives attached to the Obi Division.

He said preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was lured via phone call by one of the suspects who was owing the trader the sum of N40,000. He reportedly beckoned on her to come and purchase grains in one of the Fulani settlements of the area. 'Unknown to her there was a sinister plan to take her life and dispossess her of her business capital,' the police spokesman said.
