Barely three days after four persons lost their lives in Kano, two other persons were killed on Wednesday when three vehicles collided on the Panshekara Road in the city.

According to the spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corps in the state, Kabir Daura, the accident occurred on the Panshekara lane of the dual carriageway.

According to him, the crash involved a truck laden with animal hide, a Toyota Space Wagon and a tricycle, whose rider was said to be riding recklessly in front of the truck. “In an attempt to avoid the tricycle, the truck driver rammed into the tricycle and the car, and dragged them into a roadside shop, resulting in the death of two persons, a male adult and a female child,” Daura stated.

Shortly after the crash, he said officials of the FRSC evacuated the bodies of the deceased and the injured to the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital. Daura added that the truck, which blocked the road, was removed with the help of the FRSC and Dangote tow trucks to ensure smooth flow of traffic.,All rights reserved.
