Two people have died in a car crash after their vehicle was allegedly hit by another car and rolled in Melbourne’s south-east on Monday night.
Investigators believe a man driving a black BMW sedan was travelling along North Road in Caulfield South at about 10.45pm when he allegedly hit a Honda.Nine NewsThe deceased man and woman are yet to be formally identified.
The driver and passenger of the BMW sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.that police believe traffic signs had been ignored in the lead-up to the crash.He “strongly advised” motorists to avoid the intersection of Bambra and North roads until mid-morning on Tuesday. The area of the crime scene has been cordoned off, and North Road is closed in both directions of traffic between Hawthorn and Bambra roads.
