Twitter says nothing has changed amid questionable changes
We’re also curious how de-amplifying content will work for accounts that don’t attract tens of thousands of responses. Will mentions that violate policies be hidden? While de-amplifying a tweet may work for the “Home” timeline, we do wonder how this will work in mentions and other areas of the platform.
Funny that, as earlier this week former head of Trust and Safety at Twitter, Yoel Roth pointedly stated that he doesn’t believe that Twitter is safe under Musk’s leadership. Given that Twitter has struggled to address content moderation in languages that aren’t English, we have to wonder how this moderation will be done in say, Brussels.so we sure hope that Twitter’s US moderators are fluent in Dutch, French and nuances that may be used in the country.
This is good and we hope it continues but again, is this violative content in English or is it in a variety of languages?
