Twitter’s stock rose four per cent in after-hours trading following its reveal of stronger-than-anticipated second-quarter earnings, according to www.tubefilter.com on Friday.
By far its biggest revenue driver–as usual–was advertising. Twitter saw a “broad increase in advertiser demand” throughout the quarter, it said, and as a result $1.05bn of its revenue came straight from ad sales.
