A new tool has been launched by the Women Against State Pension Inequality to help women see if they're entitled to a payout from the Department for Work and Pensions . This comes after the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman stated that women born between April 1950 and April 1960 are owed money due to poorly communicated changes in the state pension age.

The report also mentioned that these women should have received a letter about the changes up to four years earlier than they did. It's almost ten years since the WASPI campaign group started fighting for compensation. The ombudsman's report is the result of a five-year investigation into alleged failures at the DWP, reports MyLondon.
