Daud Olatunji, Abeokutaattached to a truck carrying a container has lost his life in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
The spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the accident in Abeokuta on Sunday.
He explained that the containerised truck was outbound Lagos from Apapa to an unknown destination when the accident happened.Akinbiyi said a motorist, who was behind the truck, explained that the truck driver was recklessly speeding along the diversion route, which made the truck overturn, while the container detached.has been deposited in the Divine Heights Hospital mortuary, Mowe.
