There was trouble in the camp of the Lakurawa terrorists as troops of the Nigerian Army's Operation Fansan Yemma destroyed 22 of their camps in Sokoto State.
According to Ajose, weapons including 4 x rifles and 409 x PKT 7.62mm NATO and 94 x 7.62mm special rounds ammunition, were recovered from the terrorists. He said, “The deployment is to consolidate successes achieved in the ongoing precursor operation under operation FOREST SANITY III .'
