Udinese defender, William Troost-Ekong, is delighted after June 20 was announced as resumption date of the Italian Serie A.
The Italian government suspended all sporting activities in the country including the league on March 9, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Super Eagles defender had earlier declared his support for the completion of the league when he made a comment onThe announcement of the resumption date was made on Thursday, same day the English Premier League also announced that it would resume on June 17.Udinese are currently 14th on the league table with seven wins in 26 games, and losing 12 matches in the season.
The Nigerian has been one of the team’s star performers this season, featuring for the club 24 times.
