Troops of Operation Safe Haven have recovered the remains of a slain Fulani leader, Ardo Adamu Idris Gabdo, the Ardo Panyam who was recently declared missing in Bauchi State. DAILY POST reports that the Fulani leader went missing on September 24, when he left the state on a visit to his siblings and friends residing

in Panyam of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. However, in a post on its X handle on Thursday, the Army Headquarters said Ardo was found dead on Wednesday along Pankshin - Bauchi Road in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State. According to the post, the body of the deceased has since been handed over to the family for proper burial. The Army explained that the breakthrough was made possible through the continued community engagements employed by the troops.

It vowed to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime are brought to book and prosecuted accordingly. 'The investigation will now proceed with renewed vigour to identify and apprehend those responsible for this heinous crime and quickly bring them to justice as directed by the Chief of Army Staff.
