Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully neutralized a notorious terrorist commander, Munzur Ya Audu, in Yobe State, along with 114 other militants, during a series of strategic operations across the country.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, made the announcement on Thursday during a press briefing in Abuja, detailing the military’s achievements over the past week. Buba stated that troops targeted terrorist logistics hubs and other facilities tied to insurgent activities, with a focus on dismantling operational capabilities and disrupting terror networks.
“During the week under review: 115 terrorists neutralized 238 suspects arrested 138 kidnapped hostages rescued “The troops also recovered significant weaponry, including: 145 assorted weapons 3,825 rounds of ammunition Grenades, RPG bombs, and other explosive devices.
