Troops kill 89 bandits, rescue five kidnapped victims in Zamfara
The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, in a statement on Saturday, added that large cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered during the operation.
He added that two helicopter gunships of the Nigerian Air Force, personnel of Nigeria Police Force and elements of Nigerian Army also participated in the onslaught.
