Troops eliminate top Boko Haram commanders, others
The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche disclosed this on Sunday in a statement in Abuja.
He also said that weapons and equipment recovered from the terrorists include a Magazine with 48 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, eight bicycles, one Honda car, three AK47 rifles and one motorcycle.He said: “Shortly after the successful operation, the enemy communication intercept confirmed the killing of a top Boko Haram Commander named Sayinna and other fighters during the encounter.
Enenche said the troops continue their onslaught on the terrorists in the northeast, killing eight prominent leaders of Boko Haram in their futile attempt to infiltrate Army Super Camp, Damasak.
