A member of the House of Representatives from Ondo State, Mr Jimi Odimayo, has described the verdict of the Presidential Election Petitions
The PEPT five-man panel upheld the victory of Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election and dismissed the petitions of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi respectively.
Odimayo, who represents the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, urged the PDP and LP candidates to forget about the case and join Tinubu in rebuilding Nigeria. The federal lawmaker stated this in a statement he issued through his media office and made available to our correspondent on Saturday.
He said, “I want to encourage the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party, Abubakar Atiku and that of the Labour Party Peter Obi to join hands with the president in the interest of the nation and to achieve the renewed hope agenda.
