The Joint Task Force COVID Shield has issued a flowchart on domestic travel to assist the public on what to do if they would move to several places affected by the continuing implementation of quarantine measures.
Dubbed as the National Travel Flowchart, JTF COVID Shield commander Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said it contains the answers on all the frequently-asked questions pertaining to local travels under all quarantine status—from Enhanced Community Quarantine to Modified General Community Quarantine.
A Travel Authority can be secured if a traveler would submit a Medical Clearance Certificate from the City or Municipal Health offices of the Local Government Units and other Department of Health-accredited hospitals and clinics; and, after coordination with the Local Government Unit-destination is done.
“In doing this, we hope to address confusion, misunderstanding and disinformation among our kababayan and guide them properly for their smooth travels,” he added.
