British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has urged Arsenal to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after completing a transfer move for West Ham captain Declan
Arsenal are on the verge of breaking their transfer record to sign Rice for £105m from West Ham.
But Morgan, a passionate Arsenal fan, believes Rice would be a ‘monstrously good addition’ to Mikel Arteta’s side but believes the North London club still need one more signing – Osimhen – if they want to win silverware next season. In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Morgan wrote on Thursday, “It’s brilliant that Arsenal seem to have won the race to sign @_DeclanRice who will be a monstrously good addition to the team.
“But if we want to win big trophies, we also need a world-class striker who will score 25 [plus] goals a season. I’d break the bank for @victorosimhen9.” Osimhen was superb for Napoli last season as he won the Serie A Golden Boot after leading his team to win the Italian top-flight league title.
