Football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has confirmed that Manchester City midfielder, IIkay Gundogan, has agreed on a two-year deal to join La Liga
Romano disclosed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday evening.
According to him, Gundogan’s deal is done and his contract will be valid until June 2025, with an option for a further year. He tweeted, “Ilkay Gündogan to Barcelona, here we go! Final approval arrived on the club side to register him as a new signing, green light from the player. It’s done deal, signed a few minutes ago.”Gundogan joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in 2016 for €27 million.
The Germany international helped Pep Guardiola’s side to win the Treble – FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League last season.
