The Senegalese goalkeeper left the club after three seasons and has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
“A hugely likeable character on and off the pitch, Edouard will always have a place in our history for his significant contributions to our 2021 Champions League triumph,” a Chelsea statement read.Mendy also helped Senegal win the Africa Cup of Nations, beating Egypt in the final in 2022.
