Lagos State Government has said the state task force has impounded over 5,000 commercial motorcycles, popularly called Okada in the last two months across the metropolis.

Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this at the commencement of the Annual Ministerial Press Briefing, commemorating the first year of the second term in office of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the activities of the ministry, held at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. He added that the government had been embarking on advocacies on safety while collaborating with transport enforcement agencies in all Ogun State to bring sanity on the road.
