Total Health Trust (THT) Ltd, a Tangerine Company, held its Annual Healthcare Provider Forum on the 5th of October 2023 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference and Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, with the theme 'Quality Healthcare Delivery in a Hyperdynamic Society'.
The Forum, renowned for providing a platform for thought leadership, learning and development and robust partnerships in the healthcare value chain and the health insurance industry, had major stakeholders such as clients, the industry regulator-National Health Insurance Authority and over 350 healthcare providers in attendance. Toyin Deinde, the Chief Operating Officer of Total Health Trust, welcomed stakeholders to the Forum.
Adeolu Arogundade, the Medical Director of the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre , summarised quality healthcare with the acronym SEPTEE . Dr. Arogundade stated further that hindrances to quality healthcare, such as infrastructure deficits, workforce shortages, inadequate healthcare funding, energy crisis, counterfeit drugs and poor technology, must be urgently addressed by all stakeholders involved in delivering quality healthcare in Nigeria.
