Nigeria’s track queen, Tobi Amusan, has said that she was ‘thrilled’ after an Independent Tribunal cleared her to run at the upcoming World Athletics
LEADERSHIP reports that Amusan had been charged with three whereabouts failures, an anti-doping rule violation for missing three out of competition tests within a year period, and the Nigerian had contested the charge.
However, a panel of the disciplinary tribunal on Thursday decided that Amusan was not guilty of an anti-doping rule violation .Reacting, Amusan, in a post via her Instagram handle, thanked God and all those who supported her. She said, “Thank you Daddy. This morning I found out that the Independent Tribunal that heard my case has ruled that I did not violate the whereabouts rules and as a result, I will not be sanctioned and none of my results will be precluded.
