Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu holds the people of Imo State and Ndigbo in general in high esteem.
The Vice President, who made this known at the flag off campaign rally for the November 11 governorship election at Dan Anyiam, stadium, Owerri, Imo State, said the President has demonstrated this love for Ndigbo with the appointments in his cabinet.
For the purpose of consolidation and continuity, he said it is extremely important for the people of Imo to rally round the governor and get him reelected for the second term. While thanking the people on the behalf of the President, he promised that he would be coming back to the State with APC team including former Governors Ikedi Ohakim and Senator Rochas Okorocha.
