President Bola Tinubu is holding an inaugural meeting with governors of the 36 states of the federation, known as the Nigeria Governors’ Forum , at the State House, Abuja.
Also attending the meeting are Vice-President Kashim Shettima and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation , Senator George Akume. The governors attending the meeting, which commenced at about 12.40pm, include those of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, Imo and Bauchi.Those not present before the commencement of the meeting are Governors of Katsina, Kaduna, Gombe, Borno, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Ekiti, Ondo and Sokoto States.
