Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has said there were clear signs that indicated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was destined to lead Nigeria.
Congratulating Tinubu on his swearing-in as President, yesterday, Omo-Agege, in a message by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yomi Odunuga, expressed confidence that Tinubu would surpass the achievements of his predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari.
While stressing the need to have the right leadership that would continue with the legacy of his predecessor, Omo-Agege solicited the support of Nigerians for the new administration. “Given your progressive antecedents as one of the leaders of the National Democratic Coalition , senator, Governor of Lagos State and eventually, national leader of the APC, you left no one in doubt you were destined and prepared for leadership.
“Without question, these positions and various challenges have prepared you for this current national assignment. “We have total confidence that you would fit perfectly into the giant shoes of your predecessor and take our dear country to even greater heights,” he said.
