The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has denied knowledge of a campaign group fronting an “unsolicited and unwarranted” campaign materials.

“We have seen pictures of face caps, T shirts, shirts and even leaflets with Bola Tinubu 2023 embossed on them,” he tweeted. There has been various insinuations that the former Lagos State governor will be running on the platform of the APC as the country’s next president. Critics say the verbal assault was El-rufai’s indications that he may not be in support of Tinubu should he emerge the party’s flag-bearer in the 2023.
