Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended President Bola Tinubu for creating a level playing field during Saturday's governorship polls in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states. Sanwo-Olu made the remark while congratulating Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State on his reelection, which he described as well deserving.

Sanwo-Olu made the remark while congratulating Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State on his reelection, which he described as well deserving. He noted that Uzodinma's victory has shown that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is the choice of Nigerians.
He said: “Uzodinma’s success in the election is a validation of people’s acceptance of his administration, having impacted positively in the lives of the citizens during his first term in office. “Uzodinma’s victory is a clear manifestation that the APC remains the party of choice for Nigerians. The party will continue to work in the best interest of Nigerians in line with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
