President Bola Tinubu has asked the national assembly to approve the sums of $7.8 billion and €100 million in his administration’s proposed 2022 – 2024 borrowing plan.
A similar letter from the president was read by Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house of representatives, on the floor of the lower legislative chamber. “The total facility of the projects and programmes under the borrowing plan is $7,864,508,559 dollars and then in euro, €100 million respectively.
