The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said President Bola Tinubu is politically ahead of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, New Nigeria Peoples Party's Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP). APC National Publicity Director Bala Ibrahim stated that Kwankwaso, Obi, and Obasanjo pose no threat to Tinubu.

He made the remark while dismissing the meeting between Kwankwaso, Donald Duke, and Obasanjo . Obasanjo had met with Kwankwaso and Duke in Absolute, Ogun State, on Saturday.
However, Ibrahim described the meeting as inconsequential, stressing that Tinubu had more political relevance and influence. In a statement, Ibrahim said the combination of Obasanjo, Kwankwaso, and Duke's force can't bring any meaningful outcome. He said: 'But when it comes to the politics of Nigeria, particularly contemporary politics, Tinubu is not their mate. “Tinubu is head and shoulders above them in modern politics in Nigeria.
