He was married to singer Afida Turner. He died on December 8, 2018, after battling colon cancer. His wife shared a statement on Instagram which read, “My God, Ronnie Turner, a true angel, huge soul, highly spiritual, my husband, my best friend, my baby.”Tina adopted two of Ike Turner’s six children. Tina’s eldest child, Ike Turner Jr., was born in 1958.
Ike Jr and Tina were estranged for almost two decades. In a 2018 interview with Dailymail, Ike Jr said, “Tina raised me from the age of two. She’s the only mother I’ve ever known. I haven’t talked to my mother since God knows when – probably around 2000. I don’t think any of my brothers have talked to her in a long time either.”Michael is Ike Turner’s youngest son from his relationship with Lorraine Taylor. Not so much is known about him as he does a fine job avoiding the media.
