Photos: Armstrong BakamThree people have reportedly drowned after the vehicle they were travelling in got flooded following the collapse of the ever-busy Bauchi-Ningi-Kano Road. Four other passengers who were in the car were rescued alive.
As a result of the flooded road, many vehicles and passengers were stranded as there was no entry into the Ningi council area through Jigawa, to Kano State from Bauchi. Our correspondent, who visited the scene of the incident at Malka village, observed that the road was cut off at two different places, about 200 meters apart. Many travellers had to turn back and take alternative routes which are far longer while other motorists parked close to the place.
