The First Descendant has just released its first major patch/hotfix since its release last week, and it’s a very solid one that indicates a receptive, fast-acting studio addressing key player concerns.
They have removed the one Immunity Ball concept where you have to break the balls in the specific order they spawn, which can be hard enough for one player to track when dodging attacks and dealing with mobs, but with a group on no mics trying to coordinate, it was almost impossible. They are changing the farming of rare basic materials in that they will now drop outside of Encrypted Vaults in lower quantities. You can get them in Field Missions and Infiltrations too now. They will monitor farming to “do our best to create a joyful environment for all our Descendants.” Marie Kondo studio over here. But I appreciate it.
