Tension as suspected herdsmen kill farmers in Delta

Palpable tension has gripped residents of the Toru-Angiama community in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State as two farmers were reportedly killed in the community by suspected herdsmen on Monday.

Sources said that herders had been intimidating and harassing residents in the area in recent times.

The Police Public Relations Officer for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comment on the killing as of the time of filing this report.All rights reserved.
