He said: 'It feels like something has gone untoward. 'You don’t drop a player that scored two in midweek and against Southampton. 'It feels something has happened this week, the manager’s frustrated. 'It’s unusual for a manager to come out and out a player by talking about their lifestyle.' When asked about Redknapp’s comments after the game at Palace, Ten Hag replied: 'Yeah, I heard already the speculation, some pundits...that is crazy.
